I swear, Charlotte almost needs a sub forum of her very own.  I'll have to talk to her and see if she would like to become a sponsor :P

I finally bought her front tires today.  I'd planned to do it a week or two ago but every time I drove past the tire place he had customers and I'm bad at waiting in line.  Today there was nobody there when I drove in.

OMG, what a difference!!!!!!!!!!!!!  I thought that her ride was fine except for on one stretch of road where I felt a vibration that concerned me.  It was just on that one short stretch so I blamed it on the road.  After the new tires the drive home was totally better.  She was so smooth.  I took my hands off the wheel and she stayed straight.  I looked at my speedo where the speed limit is  55 and I sometimes go 60.  I was going 70 mph!  Dang!  When I got to the problematic stretch of road I could only feel a slight vibration in the seat of my pants rather that all over.

The gentleman said that in another few months I should replace her rear tires.  I will do it.  God knows I can change a flat, but doing it is a huge PITA that I would rather not deal with.

That's good news....having a front flat can yank the wheel almost out of your hands...it's a dangerous moment...glad you got the new skins  |^|
