Hi guys!

Cool 66 degrees here this morning as we're in a cooling trend down from high 90s to high 70s/low 80s. But plenty of sunshine. The temps will be rising for sure as the days go by.

I'm having my morning coffee right now with Lucy but need to get back to netting and bagging fish and shrimp for my LFS couple. They'll be here in 50 minutes for them.

Nothing really new or interesting happening these days. Kinda slow which is not so bad. Played cards with friends Wednesday. That all the excitement I've had! How about you guys and gals?

Happy Aquariuming,
Ron

Hi Ron!

Beautiful day here today.  Blue sky and mid 70's.

I've been working out at Mom's just fixin' stuff up before she gets back from Florida.

Brushed up on my masonry skills and refurbished a retaining wall in need of some repairs.  Replaced 6 top caps, and re-pointed the mortar where needed.  Coat of fresh paint and walla!!!

Also did a bit of tile work in the master bath, and swapped the handles on the tub faucet.  At 96 she was having trouble getting the water turned off...

As for today, I watched MotoGP Friday practice earlier and now I'm off for a ride of my own.  Planning on cutting some downed trees tomorrow along with some other yard work.  Got 2.25 pounds of wildflower seed to sow.  Looks like winter is all but over here and it's probably safe to put it in the ground.

Lastly, Ubuntu version 24.04 came out yesterday.  I'll probably play around a bit with the new version over the weekend.  It's hard to believe I stopped using Micro$oft Windows almost 15 years ago...

Hope everyone has a great weekend!

Barb

Good morning guys, great work Dennis!  You must know brick laying.  And plumbing and other jobs. Read all the last few days posts so I am keeping up with you guys.  Liz hope you are doing OK.  I posted at Simply. Sure hope Al can hang on and even find another item to sell to us all for our discus.  I am worm-rationing now. The baby discus you sent me a few years ago have been eating those FDBW at least once a day for their whole lives.  But they eat everything I give them, all dried, so they will be fine.

Dennis I agree with Barb, that brick work looks great. Ron, things are kind of slow here too but that won't last as I have to get ready for my nieces wedding at the end of May. I still haven't decided what I am going to wear but I better soon because time is flying by.

I'm doing as well as can be expected.  My neighbors just brought me my laptop.  I feel like I have my life back again.  No way I could talk to y'all on my tiny phone with an ox-sa monitor on my index finger.

I had twice today which I failed miserably at. the doc says that the bone is stable but  I still can't put any weight on it.  I did well with OT where the focus is on my upper body strenght.

I'm afraid that's it.  I miss my puppies dearly.
Always move forward. Never look back.
