Fireworks for the 4th

.....what's everyone doing on the 4th this year?......we have a few good firework shows in the area here....might just do Dekalb ?....

....cooking?.....chicken on the 'barbie' probably.... huh....maybe have the kids over too.... huh....

I have seen two spectacular fireworks displays. One when I was working at NIH, lying on my back at the foot of the Washington monument. They do a good one on the mall there. The other was the 50th anniversary of the Golden Gate bridge, when they shot fireworks from a barge in the bay. I like the booms more than the lights.

..agreed.....without da boom boom....they are fireworks......altho some years back, Batavia put on a show called 'Rhapsody in Blue'......all the colors were shades of blue, purple, etc.,,,,and they played Gershwin along with it.......nice show............
