Mary and I went for a ride today and wound up in a place called "Cody's".......... in the town Called Fifty-six here in the Ozark mountains. ???

Twas a long ride and we were kinda hungry so we stopped in this lil diner along the way.I Had a grilled chicken Samwich  to die for and some fried green beans, and Mary had a Philly steak sandwich on Texas toast that ROCKED.

Topped it all off with a hunk of FRESH homemade pecan pie.

Bought a whole pie before we left figuring i would be Great with tomorrows morning coffee.

OOOOPS......all gone

Today I ate twice!  I almost didn't eat at all yesterday so I made up for lost time. 
Always move forward. Never look back.

You're right.  It is funny.

I forgot about until about it and around 7 in the evening when it occurred to me that I hadn't done it.  I wasn't hungry but it's bad to go without eating so I soft boiled a couple of eggs.

...beautiful....absolutely beautiful. It reminds me of sitting with my Grandparents on their lake house porch.....good times for sure. Enjoy yourselves.....kick back and relax... ;D
