I had 2 more batches of BN eggs laid last night! One was one of my long fins but has a short fin male that fertilized them so I'll have to do some research on that to see what I'll get. Do you get any long fin fry with mixed parents?  ???

it might take a sibling cross from those fry or a cross back to the long fin parent...

If it works the Mendalian way you will get 1/4 long fins IF the short finned one had a long finned parent.  If both of your male's parents were short finned all your fry will be short finned.
Always move forward. Never look back.

I actually have a male that I got in the trio of longfins but he didn't seen to be much of a ladies man, the girls all ignore him until I put a different male in and then they spawn almost immediately.
So what you are saying is both parents have to have long fin genes to produce any long fin fry?

What exactly is Mendelian?
