Cancer Cures in the Works

As science marches on some advances that could lead to medical cures have recently been described:

Smart and tricky multi-step way to get cancer drug targeted to cancer cell nucleus:

Many cancer drugs are very toxic to cancer cells but also toxic to normal cells so pin-point delivery can be important.

New cancer drug with a strong effect on a specific breast cancer:

A kind of cancer can be caused by any of several different combinations of mutations in genes that can lead to cancerous behavior. This treatment is only for one of those mutations. This has to do with directing the treatment to the exact kind of cancer someone might have. A recent trend in cancer research made possible by easier cloning/sequencing of almost everything.
