M$ 30th Anniversary

It's the 30th anniversary of Microsoft's initial public offering. Since the company went public on March 13, 1986, the company's stock has grown 89,000%, though the vast majority of that was on co-founder Bill Gates' watch.

Anybody have an extra $1000 back in 1986???  An investment of $1,000 at the time of the IPO would now be worth $900,000, presuming you held on to the shares.
