I got a pair of plecos from Jon at the last swap in the QC (brown male,albino female both her for longfin)  and I looked in the cave today since I hadn't seen the male for a while and saw him sitting on a nice clutch of eggs

That's what I was thinking. But I have them in a tank where I do WC's every 2-3 days and I was bulking them up with zucchini and algae wafers

I'm thinking it would be highly unusual to have someone post that fish they acquired from Jon didn't spawn. Lol.

Sorry should have been clearer, that's the food that I feed the fry...along with zucchini and micro worms.....then the larger foods later..... BN pairs, I am feeding Bob's #40 pellet, bloodworm, algae wafers and zucchini/cucumber...yada yada.....

Thank you. Yeah everything I've got from Jon spawns within a week or so of me getting it haha
