Well, it seems that you want a new aquarium. The first place to begin is important. Where are you going to set it up? Things to consider are ...overall weight, traffic, accessibility.
There are others...what are they?

# of fish in a tank, Compatibility (fish store are bad at this),  Back ground,  aquarium decor, water parameters, tempature

yep, and the 'source' of your new fish. Are there local clubs, or hobbyists near you? These can be an invaluable places for help in raising your chosen species.

Better to get them from your own local water.  Pet stores (big box) get them from over seas and who know what they have been exposed to...

Good point...that's an added plus for sure. Acclimation isn't as bad an issue.
