.....we had the state low last night at 52degs,,, :o.....pretty cool out there even now.....

...what's happening folks?......'Corn Fest' this weekend in Dekalb....Sat. morning they'll steam up over 50,000 ears of corn...all free!  |^|...then food vendors, craft shows, and various booths all over downtown.....later on there will be bands...etc.   It's nice to go walk around and enjoy the sights....and excellent people watching  |^|

..the squirrels around here are gathering like crazy.....even found walnuts in the garage, fish tanks out back..... :D

I can feel the end of summer coming soon. If it wasn't for all of the rain we got summer hasn't been bad around here at all. We only had a couple of heatwaves.

...I get the heat will be back......not for long tho.... huh....mid 70's here now....rain moving in tonight and tomorrow....high tomorrow in the 60's .... :o

Yessss  High forecast for tomorrow to be 67.  Will be nice for a change.  It seems like it has been above 80 every day since mid May.  Only problem now I will have no excuse not to do all the things I have been putting off because it was too hot.

It's cooler here too.  I hear the heat and humidity will come back over the weekend. 

My nephew will be calling later from London.  I'm having to make some decisions about how I will move forward.  He's good at thinking with me.
