Ok....green, blue eye patches on male....it's a bonded pair of parrotlets....a smaller species of parrot with out the noise. Cute little things...settling in nicely, despite the male getting loose and being chased/stalked by 'Manny'....but I caught him....he wasn't afraid of Manny, just stared at him....it confused the 'demon' and he just stared back....LOL...
These are small birds...pocket sized...they can talk too....very human friendly....
Before I grabbed the camera, they were flying back and forth across the cage...and hanging upside down by one foot....LOL....real characters.....personable too, although not hand tamed, they're a breeding couple ;D
Neat looking lil things.

Yes, they are.....we're just now seeing their personalities....hanging upside down, little communication noises, flying around the cage, etc.....strange poses...

Hi All,I have been looking at these birds for awhile now and I finally found some. They are sweet little birds and come in a varity of different colors. The natural color ( Green) being hard to find, as people breed for White, Blue, Yellow. Pale Blue and what is called Pied which is a mix of colors with White patches. They can live between 15- 20 years, and have 2 to 3 cluches of babies a year. The ones I have are a bonded pair but haven`t had little ones yet and are only about 2 years old. I `m going to let them get settled in for a few weeks and then put up a nest box and see what happens. ;D
