Of a tank that previously housed a reptile?  I've heard you shouldn't switch from reptiles to fish in a tank because you can contaminate the fishes water. I found a 72gal bowfront with glass tops, lights, and stand for $75. I wouldn't use the stand but could resell it to recoup some of my cost. What's your thoughts?

I have put fish in a tank that housed a turtle for many years without doing anything special to it.  My guess is you clould clean it with H2O2 or use some bleach and water, scrub, rinse and air it out and you should be fine. Unless it's a "leaker".

Too Many Fish. Not Enough Tanks.

My only problem using a reptile tank is if it was made to be for reptiles rather than fish it won't be made strong enough to hold up to the water.  I don't know how acrylic tanks are glued together.  The ammonia in the reptile pee might weaken bond.  I don't know but someone here will.  As far as making it safe for fish, a 10 to 1 solution of water to bleach will do the trick.
Always move forward. Never look back.

fill it and see...... ;D   then if good, use the bleach water combo.....it's likely an aquarium...never seen a bow front reptile tank....but....??

Yeah it's not technically a reptile tank. The glass is thicker. I think I'll get it it's too good of a price to pass up even if I have to reseal it, I've resealed a bunch of tanks before
