What I saw in the sky tonight

Nope, not a UFO, but the ISS, the International Space Station!  It went right over our neighborhood, many miles up.  It looked like a moving very bright star, no flashing lights like a plane would have.  Our local news told us when and where to look.  After a week of clouds, rain and wind, the sky cleared up a few hours ago and I got a clear view of it.  Very exciting!

In binoculars it would look square.
A friend of mine has an app that tells you when it goes overhead.

A cleared sky treat for you Barb. I love seeing things in the night sky.  |^|
When you find people who not only tolerate your quirks but celebrate them with glad cries of "Me too!" be sure to cherish them. Because those weirdos are your tribe.  (Sweatpants & Coffee)

Not sure, but maybe:

ISS Track
or
SkyView Satellite Guide

Before Space Shuttle launches were stopped, he had us watching both the space shuttle and space station as they were getting close to dock.
