B, we looked around and found each other, in our case we met on New Years Eve, got married 7 weeks later.  I don't recommend this way, but it worked well for us.  Good luck to you in about 10 more years or so.

Most likely about 5 years. Most people get married at around 19 because they are madly in love. Or so they think.

Well I have always said this to my parent for a long time. I don't have enough time here on earth so I can't waste it. I will most likely have about 60 or 70 years here. I will use 19 years for school plus at the minimum 2 years for college but most likely about 4 or 6 years. And on top of that would be the navy if I would to go that direction. If I went with the navy then even more of my life would be spent up.

Go Navy first, to pay for your school when you get out....plus the Navy has some awesome schools and you'd be getting paid while learning.....then there's the opportunity to see the world, and that's not wasting your time.....nada...that's enhancing your life....so many things to do and see....go to school/see the world/get paid for it too.....win..win..win.....

All the armed forces have schools...the Navy electronic schools are superb......you start getting paid the day you enter basic training, and the pay rises along with your progress/rank as long as you're in the service. Aron, 'P4Angels' on here, retired after 20 yrs...and was still a young guy...he served on air craft carriers too....
I'm not saying that you should enlist, but you should explore the options that they offer too. Our oldest son was in the Army for over 4yrs...came out and went to college afterwards, and graduated. He's said many a time that he wouldn't trade those experiences for anything in the world. Barb is a retired service member ....I was in the service, as well as a few others here too. At very least, look at the Nat'l Guard....you take 6 mos training, paid...then serve locally on a weekend(s), plus a two week summer camp....and get paid, plus they'll pay for your school... 8)

It'll be a few years before you'll have to make that decision won't it..??......but it'll be easy to re-home them, and start again better when you get out and have the xtra cash too... 8)...

This just proves the fact that I have an intp personality. This is a quote from the passage about having an INTP personality.
Oftentimes INTP personalities get so caught up in their logic that they forget any kind of emotional consideration.
If life was an actual chess game I would send a pawn to it's doom without a second thought if I could benefit from it.

....interesting thoughts for a young lad....has it bitten you in the butt yet?..or have you learned to temper it somewhat?...

Nope, I have learned to keep my thought to myself over the years. About 90% of what I think never sees the light of day. I am not ashamed to say this but my BIRTH MOTHER took drugs and alcohol when she was pregnant with me. This probably is the reason of my thought and thinking process.

Reason or excuse?......after all, you have the ability to choose your own way....correct?

That has PERMANENTLY messed me up in some areas. I have horrible hand writing because of it, I have speech problems because of it and a bunch more things. Look up fetal alcohol syndrome and you'll see what I have to live with. You know what, I will do it for you here is a link to a post on it. http://www.webmd.com/parenting/baby/features/fetal-alcohol-syndrome

Relax....just trying to understand....I know all about the above....I've seen it too, and know some folks ...as they grew older, they put those feelings aside because carrying the burden just held them back....good people. and surviving when they thought the odds were against them....you'll do fine too...

Yeah. Life is a chess game to me, I am the king and I decide my faith. I am thinking ahead a dozen moves ahead at any given time.

In chess you have some control. In life you generally do not. When it's your time it's your time. My cousin didn't make it to 40. Her husband 44. My father 71. Mother 76. My pastor was 40. My nephew didn't make it out of the womb. 30 weeks in utero. Burial is tomorrow. I lost 2 childhood friends before they turned 40.

I've also got a cousin born Aug. 28 1911 still has tomato plants growing on the front porch.

Sergei Grinkov and his wife Ekaterina Gordeeva thought they too would have a lifetime together. He died at 28.

It's great  to plan. I do all the time. I still don't understand how I made it past 21 with everything I was doing.

Life is short? It's the longest thing you will ever do with a heartbeat.

Emotions suck. Logic is all that matters.

And it's its not it's.

You are too young to understand life. Or death.
