Out of 110 cars and trucks, my son won the People's Choice award with his 1950 all original Chevy truck. We're pretty happy about that. It was a cancer benefit car show raising funds for a lady with cancer.

Cool old truck.  It kind of reminds of the truck Chip has that belonged to his great grand father.  Congratulations.  I bet y'all were on cloud 9.
Always move forward. Never look back.

?Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside in a cloud of smoke, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming ?Wow! What a Ride!? ~ Hunter S. Thompson

I got to be proud papa. I liked it.

My son worked very hard on the truck from top to bottom. I think what won it for him is the patina. First you paint it, then you hit it here and there with sandpaper to make it look like the paint is wearing off. Go figure.
