I remember my folks driving us through Ohio....the roads then were hilly and curvy....took forever to cross the state....

...then came the Ohio Turnpike....what a difference.....you got a mileage card when you got on, then were charged when they punched it as you got off......Howard Johnson's had all the oasis stops too......it was a great trip in a 49 Hudson..... |^|
