we're getting closer to that....besides it never hits teens down there very often...rarely, if ever..
plus, I'm not throwing a chill into these old bones anymore.....worked outside in enough winters already.....try swinging off a 28 footer in sub zero weather with 20-30 mph winds...LOL..it'll make a believer out of ya quickly....LOL

I'm right there with you Mugs. I don't like being cold!!!!  Rather be too hot. It gets to the 50s and I'm putting on a sweatshirt.  :-\

Oh, I know what hot, muggy,thick, miserable air is.....and it t'ain't Florida....LOL....it's warmed up to about the high for today..45 deg's....with 30mph gusts, that chill gets old quickly....besides, I don't carry much body fat anymore....LOL....

I missed that vacation. I was in the final induction line and told them about just finding out that I had psoriasis and they sent me to get a letter from my dermatologist. Marked my papers 4F just 50 minutes from me leaving for Lackland Air Force Base to enter basic and flight training. Having learned since then how motion sick I can get, I figure I would have washed out and ended up at a desk job. The pension would be nice now!!!

Probably so. My wife's cousin was an Air Force lifer. Recently retired and on a similar job thru a contractor and getting paid more. His wife was too. She was a full bird colonel and he was the rank just below...I think it was Lt. Colonel.
