My Mom drove a 59 Pontiac Catalina convertible...that copper colored one.....389..I used it as a go to the beach car................... before I was done fix'n my 57 Chevy....with 4 coats of midnight blue over a metallic base...

Right out of high school, I worked for the local Chevrolet dealer.  One of my jobs was to bring in all the Corvettes at the end of the day.  My favorite was a used '70 or '71 460 hp 454 four speed.  With the independent rear suspension when you punched it, the seat just dropped about two inch right out from under you.  LOL

Can't believe I typed 68. My dream car is a 69. First year they had the rounded body style. The 68 was square. By the time I was done with mine it has a 67 GP 427 and 500 hp at the wheels. When I had the dual Holleys on the Edelbrock I got clocked at over 150.
