We had rain today.  I wasn't expecting it because I didn't look at the forecast.  It was persistent gentle rain.  It's cooled it off quite a bit, too.  The AC is not on and it's comfortable.

I got the last of my mowing done yesterday.  I do it over 3 days so it doesn't take all my energy away for 2 days afterward.  I'm so proud of all my mowing that I actually ask my costumer for compliments about it.  I'm always proud because I pushed the entire 2 miles of walking!  I am not shy asking for compliments when I do work that is good, even if it is mowing the grass.

I did a dog at 9:30.  I chatted with the owner while I did the dog.  This lady drives an hour each month to have me groom her dog.  Turns out we have a lot in common.  A lot of my former customers quit me when I closed the shop and started working from the house.  But the ones I still have are all wonderful and their dogs are all good.  Despite less money over all I like it now better than when I had the shop

Then I looked on line recipes.  I decided on Enchiladas Suisas from a recipe by Kenji Lopz Alt. and drove to Pendorf where the Tienda is.  Their poduce is  way better  than what I buy at the supermarket and less expensive to boot.  Met a nice mad there who was working somewhere else and ate lunch there.  We talked about real Mexican food.  We spoke in mostly English with a little Spanish.  It was a nice chat.

It has been a good day.
