Reading through the posts this morning I started wondering how folks access the forum and from what area of the house. Is it by lap or desktop, by an iPad or other device in the fishroom.....?

I almost always have my Kindle Fire by my side however I can't view posted photos on it unless I use "tapatalk". For photo viewing or posting I use the desktop when I'm downstairs. That's where the fishroom and family room are located. The laptop is the device of choice if I'm upstairs which is rarely.

What device(s) do you use and in what location?

Pauline, I have a laptop which I carry to any room in the house I need it.  I use every room in the house so I am thankful for our Wifi hookup that lets me use it anywhere.  I even take it with me when I leave home once in awhile to do business, at a local fast food place with Wifi.  Never do anything important though at these places since they may not be secure I know.

PC's in the home office and fish room along with wife's laptop in the living room.  The fish room PC is used mainly for audio... BBC radio 2, Blue Zoo and other aquatic pod casts, and all my digitized albums.

My main way is the desktop in a room that I would rather make into a guest room.  I need to have my modem moved to the fish room, but HughesNet is giving me a hard time.  At work I use the laptop.  I have a smart phone, but I hate it accessing the internet on it.  They say that you get used to the small screen, but I cannot get used to it.

Laptop from office, fish room, living room, via wireless networks or ethernet. Office is next to fish room in garage. Got speakers wired and wireless all over the garage for music, internet radio, and podcasts.

I use my laptop most of the time. I also use my smart phone alot. when I'm in the fish room it's always my phone. I also have a desk top in the computer room but I don't get on that one to much. I do love my wifi I would be lost with out it. If it wasn't for that than everything would be done on the desk top.
