Dodged the bullet

This morning as I was unplugging the laptop to take to work with me I knocked my camera off the desk.  I didn't want to know the worst news so I left it sitting, lens cover and lens cap on the ground next to it.  Turned it on when I got home.  Nothing...Put in a freshly charged battery and boomba, everything worked fine.  Perhaps the gods think that I'm living right after all.
