Meatballs.  Done.

Service in the morning. We'll do the 9:45.
Get home make dough.
Let it rest and me too.
Roll dough, make the ravioli. Leftover dough cut into spaghetti.
Asparagus. In the fridge ready for the pan.

I ate Easter dinner today.  My neighbor always has family over for Easter.   They did it a day early this year.  I groomed a daughter's little poodle and when I delivered him home and the grand kids were hunting Easter eggs, I was invited to make myself a plate to take home.  It wasn't fancy, just good country fare.  Ham, potato salad, slaw, deviled eggs, home grown baby butter beans (to die for) and lemon pie.  Not fancy like yours with home made pasta!

I just love cooking Italian. I am going to teach the little one how to make them. He's about the age my grandmother taught me.

I like the simple foods also Liz. But it seems every time I start cooking it becomes a production with a lot of dirty pots and dishes.

Been a long long time since I made ravioli. But they were great. Made some spaghetti with the leftover dough. Nothing like hand made dough to make pasta. Different taste totally than dried.
