Beautiful Saturday
« on: September 04, 2021, 06:43:45 am »
Good morning everyone. I hope you are all well. It is a cool 58 degrees under sunny skies here on the Delmarva Peninsula. Our high temp will get up to 78 this afternoon but the humidity levels will continue to drop.

I did a lot of work in the fishroom yesterday but as usual there is more to do. I also have a package from Liz that has an out for delivery scan so hopefully my mail carrier will get it to me ASAP. She is on the lookout for it.

Wishing you all a great day.

Hi Willie,  It's a beautiful Saturday here, too.  I groomed the little dog that I make look like a Cairn terrier this morning, and the auction for Rams I put up just yesterday sold!  I need to put up another after these ship Monday.  My fish don't work to buy things for themselves any more.  They work to pay the pain doctor.  The second Ram pair's wigglers went free swimming this morning.  As long as people keep buying them I'll keep breeding them.

Hope everyone has a nice day!
Always move forward. Never look back.

It’s morning here, so Good Morning Everyone!  :D. Hope all are doing well!…

Sposed to be 100 today…that’s tolerable…especially with the blue skies!…

Today is prepping day for tomorrow’s auction…since it’s our ice cream social meeting there is no speaker and we have a bigger auction with more lots allowed per person…going by our FB page it should be another big meeting…

That’s all I have for today…Happy Aquariuming everyone!
If you are going to try cross-country skiing, start with a small country.

It's been a great day in the fishroom:

First thing in the morning I saw that my Black Ram fry had wigglers in two adjacent caves. It's a single pair but for some reason they are using 2 caves and the male is guarding both.

Then I got an early delivery in the mail this morning. A package from Liz containing the snots and Mystery Snail Eggs.

I set the snail clusters up like Liz told me to and I just checked on them and saw a few snails out of the cluster. I scooped up the cluster and put it into a breeder box and it came apart as the snails fell to the bottom of the box. A few minutes later I could see several moving around the box with ease.

As I was getting ready to leave the fishroom I glanced at my Koi Angel pair tank and sure enough they were spawning. Now they haven't had viable eggs in their last few spawns but there is always a chance that this may be the time. They are not too old.

It's been a busy but rewarding day down in the fishroom.

Greetings eveybody, just a work day here for me and helping my mom otherwise.  Now to eat my dinner with fresh salmon, my favorite fish.  Good luck with the Koi spawn Willie, you are our only hope now to continue Jon's line.  And congrats on your successful Ram sales Liz, and Good luck with the meeting sales tomorrow Ron.  Bet it is fun, I haven't been to a fish club meeting in about 25 years, I used to be president of my club, for 4 years.  I miss all that.

Nope, none.  May still be one in Raleigh but that is too far to go for meetings.

Liz, we’re going to Wa for daughter’s  birthday this Friday and get back on the night of 19th…after that I want to get started with your black Rams!…I’d like you to tell me how you set up the tank and water conditions for them… seems like you’ve taught Willie well!… |^|

Liz has taught me well but I'm still screwing up. I'm still trying to get free swimmers to live past 10 days. huh
