I'd finished WC and was sitting on the sofa watching fish when I saw mama Blue Scorpion  seemingly attack the sock full of tea.  A bit later I saw her attack something else and walked up to the tank for a closer look.  She was attacking her kids!!!!  I immediately scooped her out and put her in with the 4 RSGs in the 75.  There were 2 babies attacked.  They're still swimming around but aren't attached to dad like the other babies. 

It looks like mom is one of those Discus who will need to be removed from tank with fry earlier rather that later.  When the bitch is ready to spawn again she turns into a killer.

....luck is right  .......wonder if she was culling because they didn't attach??....do discus do that ?

The kids are over two weeks old.  They've been attached since they went free swimming.  They liked mom even more than dad at first.
