Damn Electrical System

Mom bought me this lovely new battery last week.  I go vrooom vrooom when she turns the key.

Today just as we were getting home my battery light came on.  I was so ashamed.  What if I couldn't start in the morning and mom couldn't get to work.

Mom told me not to worry.  She said that she has no dogs on the books for tomorrow.  If I crank she'll drive me straight to uncle Chip's.  She told me that she could have my alternator tested.  She had time but she didn't have it done.  She said that it could be my alternator.  She said that the exact same thing happened to her when she had the Beast and it was a bad alternator.

I don't have a clue.  I know that my heart is strong, but electrical stuff is something separate that I don't understand and am forced to depend on.
