transporting plants as carry-ons

Does anyone know if this is doable on a commercial flight?...I may want to bring some back from club members when I return from Washington after the holidays.

...as long as the plants aren't on a banned list in AZ...I don't see why not.......do they still stop you at the State line and check for fruits/veg's....I remember they did that way back when ?

If they are aquatic plants remember there is a 3 ounce liquid rule for carry on items.

I shipped plants in zip lock bags with damp paper towels. Worked like a charm. Yours won't be trapped in a box for three days, so you'll be good.

I would do them this way...I've mailed a lot that way, but never carried on a plane.
