this is just one pair out of three that is giving me any viable eggs, let alone free swimmers.  It's not normal.  I think that these Discus like watching me sweat bullets over them.

The parents are raising the the second batch  The first batch are doing well but growing slowly.

Update number two:  The parents were doing just great with their 25 kids attached.  Yesterday they decided to spawn again.  They must have done it  after 5 yesterday evening when I gave them their before light's out snack.  I didn't see the eggs on the cone until this morning and by then dad had already eaten all but 6 of their 25 kids.  I scooped the 6 out and dumped them into the 10 with the previous batch.  The older ones hang out on one side of the tank.  The little guys are sticking together on the other  side.
