Went to Ft. Desoto pier Last two Saturdays. This Friday night my sister and me went fishing at the Skyway Bridge fishing pier. Soon after we got there a guy hooks a large shark. Loses it trying to get it up. Estimated at about 4 foot 300 lbs.
I had a nice spanish mackerel but alas lost it being too lazy to get the bridge net.
Watched the sun set and the sun rise from the pier. Haven't pulled an all nighter since I stopped running my boat. Now I need to straighten up the tackle box and fix some reels and one pole. Hmm. I've got enough parts and one blank left. Time to build another pole?
