Went 2 weeks ago. Caught a bunch of trout in a lake. Released most of them. Total about 20-21 caught. Loved it.

Finally went saltwater fishing yesterday. We've got one of the best beaches in the country an hour away. Ft. Desoto. Two piers. Gulf of Mexico and a Tampa Bay pier. I did the Gulf pier as always. The little guy caught his first fish. A blue runner. On a Lightning McQueen setup. Then went on and caught a couple of grunts. Been a long time since I've been fishing. Of course the moon phase is all wrong but we went anyway. Can't recall how many times I cast the spoon out. But it was a lot. Caught everything on live shrimp and one mackerel on cut squid. Right now it's tough to go though I don't trust my Dakota. Needs some tranny work I don't want to spend the money on. Rented a car for Friday through Monday morning for 75 so not too bad. And we took a ride to OTown to see the father in law so not a bad weekend
