Does the TW01name  have anything to do with the tinwini?  I see tinwini on Pete Cottle's photo and I think it was included in something awhile back Dennis either posted or had on his website.

The TW is for the late Mr. U Tin Win, director of the Hein Aquarium in Myanmar.  He was instrumental in getting many of the new Danios from Myanmar into the hobby.  At one time there was TW01, TW02, and TW03.  TW03 became Danio aesculapii, TW02 became Danio tinwini named after U Tin Win, and now TW01 has the name Danio absconditus.



I never met Tin Win, but I did get the opportunity to chat with him on the now defunct PetRFD forum in Singapore.  Many of the photos I have on my CPD site are from him.
