Does anyone buy dry frets and mix there own? I've been thinking about it (flourish is getting expensive) but I don't know much about it. I'm pretty sure I read some info on the old forum. Can someone share their experience/pointers please?

I use plants to aid in spawning fish or raising fry, adding chemical plant fertilizers would be a hindrance to that end....  sorry.
