Do we still need a 'Salt' forum?...Would it be better if we split off some other topic into sub-sections...or identified a new forum topic?....I guess we could leave the section and just tidy it up and shrink it a bit....anyone?????

I have no interest in salt, but I don't know what's best for the forum.

We really, at this time, don't have a 'salt' community. We likely will have a few along the way tho. Perhaps just reduce it and we can expand it as necessary??.....

I vote to drop it and re-instate it when someone with experience and knowledge in saltwater wants to start it back up.....  I guess I just have issues with sites that try to be all-things-to-all-people and get completely out of their depth.

That's one of the things that makes Mugwump's so great, we have a group of knowledgeable folks who don't talk out their.....  We also don't have a bunch of BS posts just for the sake of posting something.

Since I'm not into salt water I only occasionally look in that section. While there are salt water fish that catch my attention from time to time I usually get my fill from the TFH articles.
