Good late afternoon my friends. No sun here today, but it has been about 70 so I won't complain.  Sure hope it doesn't freeze any more this Winter because a lot of new leaves and blooms in my yard will freeze and turn black, like last year.  Fingers crossed.  I walked downtown today and then ate lunch with friends.  Also did some indoor plant work after some yard trimming earlier.  I had a pair of Mallards fly into and splash down into my little pond.  Nearly scared me to death when it happened because I thought it was a huge heron, here to eat my fish.  I saw it from my LR windows and ran out to scare them away.  Ducks would foul the water very fast.  Have a good night,
Barb

The following post was put in the wrong place. If you check yesterday's post you'll see that I posted morning greetings twice.
  huh

Good morning everyone. I am up and ready to go at 5:30. I can't waste much time because I have to get this house in shape. I'll start with the kitchen and work my way into the family room. Since bathrooms have to be pristine I probably won't do them until Thursday. The easiest rooms to do is my bedroom and the guestroom/office.

Things with Kobe have settled down and he is mostly happy and eating well. He sleeps a lot where as he used to be the "Energizer Bunny" but occasionally he wants to play. I have to be careful not to let him get overly excited.

On the weather front, it is 38 degrees and going up to 60 this afternoon. On Wednesday we will hit a high of 70F. That is ridiculous for February. We will get rain overnight and I suspect the dandelions will be sprouting at any moment.

Any way, everyone have a great day and I'll check in later.

Too Many Fish. Not Enough Tanks.

You just woke up too early to know what day it is, Willie.

It got up to 74 today with a little sun in the afternoon.  Humidity is high, though.  The humidity doesn't bother me but it makes my dehumidifiers work overtime, though.  I put my house plants out to enjoy the bit of sun.  It will be warm enough to leave them out overnight which is nice.  It will be the same tomorrow but which more sun, which will do them good.

I went to the dentist and found out what had to be done.  Thank God I'm not afraid of the dentist.  I just worry about the cost.  But Barb told me not to worry.  The new place that my new dentist recommended will set me up on a payment plan that I can afford.  I'll call them tomorrow.  It sure would be nice to be able to smile again without having to apologize for my missing front teeth.

I sold a group of Discus on AB.  Thank God.  I'm way low on money and this will help a lot.

I haven't done much else other than normal chores today.  I will tackle sheet washing, vacuuming, and moping tomorrow.  I promised myself I would.

See y'all tomorrow friends.

Always move forward. Never look back.

Hi Gang o' Muggers! ;D

I'm glad you all had a good day...mine was too!...a young lady and her husband came over this morning and brought her mother to buy some plants for her 10g...I really got to educate them some...I enjoy doing that...they seemed to appreciate it too...

I'm concerned about our swap meet coming up this Sunday...it's an outdoor event again and there is forecasting for 60% rain in the morning...no room inside our sponsoring LFS to move our tables inside...I guess we'll have to cancel if it rains...

Also getting ready for Gary Lange on the 4 & 5 of March...he's going to stay with me the 1 night he's in town...we'll have our regular open-to-the-public meeting Sunday, and a members only casual meeting Saturday evening here in our multipurpose room...
Exciting times!!!... ;)

I did my maintenance job early afternoon and had a friend help me move my discus tank to another spot in the game room...

Tonight we went to the clubhouse for a Mardi Gras jambalaya dinner and dance...good time!...

Barb, one of the best things about plants is their resilience...but you already know that,...living in VA, our back yard was the low swale in a former meadow and some of the really heavy rains would create a temporary pond in the whole back yard...it was fun to watch the ducks fly in and land back there...

Haha, Willie!...nice job on getting the early start on posting today...I had to chuckle!  ;D
And Liz, good luck with you dental experiences coming up...

Gotta go to bed now...hope all are sleeping well at this point...

Happy Aquariuming,
Ron
