Last week I purchased this pump and tomorrow I will be returning it because it is too loud for my taste. My old pump is a rebuilt Alita-60 that I bought secondhand and it runs quieter than this pump and still pushes put plenty enough air. huh

I've had the older pump for over 10 years and decided to replace it for fear that it would suddenly break down. I like it so much that I bought the same model pump as a replacement. Needless to say it wont be replacing anything and the old pump will go back in service later tonight. huh

I sure haven't ever had a pump last 10 yrs Willie!  And I sure hate loud pumps.  I have 2 in my bedroom  now that are almost quiet.
