Climate change is really nothing new; it's been going on since earth first formed... alarmists would like us to think it's new so politicians can, and WILL, politicize it to scare people into giving them more power...

Extinction has been going on since life began, and so has the creation of new species...the alarmists fail to mention the creation of new species in their doomsday prognostications...

That's all...I'll show myself to the door...!

I've tried in the past to talk about hot button issues.  I've decided that it's a waste of time.   Nobody's mind is ever changed.  I'm sorry for making my previous post.  What people think is none of my business.

The role of human activity.

In its Fifth Assessment Report, the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC), a group of 1,300 independent scientific experts from countries all over the world under the auspices of the United Nations, concluded there's a more than 95 percent probability that human activities over the past 50 years have warmed our planet.

The industrial activities of modern civilization have raised atmospheric carbon dioxide levels from 280 parts per million to 414 parts per million in the past 150 years. The panel also concluded there's a better than 95 percent probability that human-produced greenhouse gases such as carbon dioxide, methane, and nitrous oxide have caused much of the observed increase in Earth's temperatures over the past 50 years.

Lots of what I call solar farms here in eastern NC, many right around my city.  I say they are growing solars
now in what used to be tobacco, cotton or corn fields.

There  is a big difference between climate change that has happened over millenniums VS  that has happened over the last 100-150 years, and it's only getting worst.

Scientists OVERWHEMLNGLY agree that humans are causing the current raise in temperatures.
