Good morning everyone. I woke up to a crisp 56 degrees this morning but we are supposed to get up to 80F this afternoon so I will be taking a drive down to the beach a little later this morning. I'm loving this fall weather so far.

I still have company until tomorrow so I won't have much time to do any fishroom or gardening work. Starting Wednesday I will be playing catchup and get ahead before I will be getting my shot on the 8th.

Ron I wish I had an In and Out burger here. I haven't had one since the last time I was in LA which was in 2004. I can still remember how good they are.

Have a great day everyone.

Too Many Fish. Not Enough Tanks.

Willie, my weather is identical to yours.

My main job today was to pack up a batch of black rams and ship them off.  That's done.  I'm a little late feeding lunch to the fish and horse.  They'll forgive me.  Don't know what else I'll do today.  I'd like to dig a bit in bed number 3 of my veggie garden but my back is hurting a little more than I would like so I'm not sure how long I'll last.

What's up with you Barb and Ron.  Barb, I imagine you're a bit sore from the dirt spreading yesterday.  Ron, you still working on that rental?
Always move forward. Never look back.

Hi Willie, Liz and Ron.  Ditto for me weatherwise, 58 this morning, 80 afternoon.  Sunny and beautiful, a gorgeous day.  Took my neighbor lady to the beach where we had a great lunch at a restaurant right on the beach, then we sat by the water for an hour.  Unfortunately she fell in the ocean water, trying to get up out of her chair as a wave came in over her.  Unhurt but very embarassed.  Two people helped me get her up and back to my car, about 200 feet away.  I had towels for her to sit on in my car.  We both had a great time, except for her ocean water drench.  It was warm water.

Liz, I don't have any sore muscles at all, it is like I did no work.  Guess this means I am in good shape.  I am getting a big load of mulch tomorrow, to put on top of the soil, and use a lot in my other beds on the sides and back yard.  My goal is to have my 2000 sq. ft. house sitting in the middle of my .22 acre garden.  My .22 acre lot is just perfect for me, and a real treat after keeping over 3 acres landscaped and maintained at our old house.  That was an impossible job for us as time went on.
