Well it's Earth Day and Jon's birthday.  He would have been 76 today.  RIP old buddy.  We're still missing you here.

...the only thing I can add to the sentiments expressed before me here, is that almost everyday I miss him here...his constant search for knowledge...his humor...his kindness...his willingness to share...etc....

Ron, I feel the same as you.  He was a great bright light.  He brought all of us together and made each of us feel wanted and valuable.  I think of him almost every day.  At least Dennis didn't leave us so we have one another.

I heard a myth that is comforting.  It is that nobody is truly dead if someone remembers them...that if he lives on in our hearts he still lives in a good place.   
Always move forward. Never look back.
