Hi everybody, looking out my windows I see white everywhere, not snow but frost.    29 degrees, going up to 50something.  Need to get a carwash when they open up later.  Willie, I think your DW filter idea worked!  Thanks!  You all have a good day out there,
Barb

Good morning Barb and everyone. It was pretty frosty here as well but we will get up to 53 with plenty of sunshine later this afternoon.

Barb I am happy to here that your DW is working for now. I'll keep my fingers crossed that it will stay that way.

I really have to get my water changes done today. It's been a rough couple of weeks with everything that's going on around me that I've been negligent in my fish keeping duties.

Most of my tanks are lightly stocked so everything is okay but I am used to doing the WCs at least twice a week.

Good morning Barb and Willie.  Sorry I didn't check in yesterday.  I have no excuse.  I did get some leaf blowing and raking done outside yesterday.  It looks much more neat and tidy looking out the office window or the front door.

We're supposed to have rain coming in this afternoon.  Of course it's still colder outside than this heat loving woman is comfortable with.

I have to go to town to the hardware store this morning.  I have a 29 gallon leaking and I'm out of silicone.  Willie, I know that my little tank is a far cry from your 150, but the process is the same.  Once I get going on it I'll start a new thread with pics that show what I'm up to step by step.
Always move forward. Never look back.

I would really love to see that Liz. Thanks in advance.

...hi guys and gals!...sounds like the cool weather has hit over there on that side of the country...It's cooling off here too...55 right now and should hit only 64 today...I'm back to wearing my winter wardrobe of jeans and sweat shirts :D...

...Lucy's shirttail cousin by marriage who moved into our old community with our help 2 yrs ago is trying to get his will and stuff done...I'm helping him and will be working with him on that by phone this morning...then the knee doc this afternoon....

...this past Tuesday we had a Medicare specialist agent come to go over our coverage and gave us excellent explanations of how the Advantage Plan works...she blew away one of the rumors that has kept us from seriously considering it...we've often been told that it wouldn't cover us in other states...that's malarkey! >:( ...we also learned that there are several different plans by several different companies that operate a little differently in different states...another thing that we didn't know is that this first year is a trial and if we want to change back to our original plan we can do that with no penalties before the year is up!...the plan we chose for us was Humana and it should save us over $1,000 a year!...facing possible surgeries this coming year, that's got to help!...

...one of the things I love about our hobby is that we meet physically and ''internettedly'' so many nice people!...you guys fit into the internettedly group! |^| |^| ...have a great rest of your day...! 8) 8) 8)
Happy Aquariuming,

I was looking into Medicare Advantage and that evening I was too lazy to go to the car, get my purse, and then give them my Medicare number.  The next day Tom died and I forgot about it.  Thanks for reminding me, Ron.  I only have a few days left!

Yeah, I need to get off my lazy ass and do it.  I am flummoxed by some of these things so I put doing them off until the last minute.  Ask Barb.  It would have been easier for her to pull all my teeth without anesthetic as it was for her to nag me in to getting my SS.  She never was able to get me to do my taxes by the 15th.  Funny thing is that once I sit down to do the things I dread, I find out that it's not hard at all.  And when I'm done doing it I feel that a great burden has been lifted from me.  I need a secretary and a full time made.  A part time chef would be a nice touch, as well.  Ha!  Maybe in my next life...
