A beautiful Tuesday Morning

It's another lovely day.  I wouldn't even have the air conditioner on if it weren't for my old Tink.  She did better last night so I'll be putting off the hard deed for a while longer.  I need to think of a plant that starts with T to grow on top of her when the time comes.

I just sent my Labradoodle puppy home.  She was a gem for a first time doodle groom.  She's a beautiful dog.  I wish she were mine.  When I took her for a walk outside on a long lead she tried to make friends with all my dogs but they mine were not nice to her.  She never tried to chase a chicken.  I bet my cat would put the fear in her if she tried to play with her.  Her name is Harley.  Turns out she 3/4 Poodle 1/4 lab.  I wondered because her build was more poodle like and her head and face weren't as Lab like as they should have been.

I'm about to start WC on my office tanks, then I'll run to the grocery store for this and that.  Afterward, I plan to just hang around and be retired  ;D

Always move forward. Never look back.

Good morning Liz and everyone else that joins in. It is beautiful day here too. I've been up since 4:30 am but not because I had a hard time sleeping but just because.

It is currently 78 degrees which is 4 degrees higher than the forecast and we may get higher later this afternoon. It is a bit windy with wind speed at 10 to 20 mph. The sun is out so it is really nice out.

Glad to hear that Tink is still around. |^| |^| |^|

Too Many Fish. Not Enough Tanks.

Hi Willie and Liz.  More rain today.  Oh well...
Glad Tink is still with you Liz.  How about tulips, tuberose, toadflax, teasel?
Last night when I went to feed my blue shrimp I saw the lone Assassin snail and looked at him with my mag. glass.  He was eating a live blue shrimp!  I guess he snuck up on it?  The poor shrimp was wiggling, still alive while the snail was attached to it.  I wanted to intervene, but thought it best to let nature do it's thing.  A couple hrs. later all that was left was a little empty shell.  The snail had a big meal.

Wow, Barb.  I had no idea!  I know they're carnivores but I never thought that they would eat a shrimp!  Tuplips won't work because where I live they won't come back every year.  I don't know the others but I'll look them up.  Hope the sun comes up for you soon, Barb.  A long spell of rain always gets me down.
Always move forward. Never look back.

....that just my internal burning question about whether to put Assassins in with any of my shrimp...I'll just let the snails live on...!
Happy Aquariuming,
