...we're cooking up a big pot of veggie-beef soup...I did all the chopping and Lucy did the put it together magic...

...probably enough to feed the 1st regiment...! |eat|

I always cook like that.  I like to keep my freezer full of stuff for later.  I made a big pot of split pea soup but instead of ham I used left over corned beef.  Had it with a hunk of crusty French bread.  I'll have more of the same tomorrow and the rest will be waiting for me in the freezer.
