...hi guys!...thanks for checking in...just getting to feeling like spending sometime at my desk today...

...Sat night went to ER...They admitted me...Sunday they yanked the gallbladder out thru a 1.25" cut under my belly button... had excellent care at the hospital and was released Monday afternoon...mostly rested that day...Tuesday was really sore (4 different incisions) and tough to get up and down...yesterday was more tolerable...and today even more so...went to my PCP today and he said the incisions are healing well....

...for the next few months i will be watching my fat and oil intake carefully, but I was already on that wagon for the last few months...I'm pretty sure that some of the issues I've had in the past with nasty vomiting and diarrhea may have come from this inflamed gallbladder... I will be searching for another  gastro-guy/gal to go to in the future...one who listens and thinks things thru a little more...sorry this one already had his mind made up about my issues...

...I'm bored and frustrated because 1) AC still on the fritz, 2) not getting stuff done for the swap meet, 3) I'm just lazing around all day, and 4) my routine is screwed up...! :'( :'( :'( ...I'll be catching up with the posts here that I've missed probably later today and tomorrow...
Happy Aquariuming,

Good to hear everything went well for you Ron. I hope that you will be finished with your recovery soon. I know you are anxious to get going but you'll be at it soon enough.

It's good to hear from you, Ron.  I was starting to get concerned.  Rest up until you're ready to go again.
Always move forward. Never look back.

...thanks folks....

Glad to hear you are on the road to recovery.  Bill had the same issue about 10 yrs. ago, wrongly diagnosed at first.  BTW, he can eat anything with no ill effects now.  You might even get coffee again!
