It changes the color....not necessarily just reverse striping....thinking depending on other genes the fish have or does not have.

Examples of what I'm talking about in these pictures. Both are BSP's. One you can see the bars but lighter. The other one has reverse bars as you termed it.

Not necessarily. 25% of the fry will not have a gold gene, 50% will be carriers (+/g), and 25% will be g/g.
