My neighbor brought me home grown veggies yesterday.  i made caramelized onions with okra, and old time tomatoes topped with 5 slices of crisp bacon crumbled in. Excellent.

....haven't heard this in way too long......Grandma Beldon called them 'Heirloom' ,while Grandma Miller called 'em 'old timer'.......
