Has anybody worked with this trait, or know anything about it?  I have had Angels with red eyes before but never paid much attention to it.  Talked to a guy in Calif. who claimed it was a characteristic of Bulgarian Green Angels.  I don't think so, but I suppose anything is possible.  The three bgs I have all have red eyes so you never know.

I'm not afraid of work.  I can lay down right next to it and go to sleep.

....wild types +/+ have red eyes a lot too.....I imagine that out crosses back to wilds likely helped perpetuate the trait?....as for the bg's who knows... huh...

The guy I talked to has a wild cross bg he got from Deana, he claimed that wilds did not have red eyes so they must be a trait of the bg. A couple other conversations led me to believe he didn't really know what he was talking about. But it did get me curious about the red eye trait and whether or not anyone has pursued it.  The red eyes are awesome in a black fish.

I have several different types of Angels with red eyes including a Pinoy female and a Paraiba male I got from Jon a couple of years ago.

Definitely a trait....but not just from BG's. Like Jon said, a lot of wilds/wild blooded has it also. I did read the post of the guy at the other forum. He also tried to buy some from me but like everyone else, nothing to sell at this time.
