What's in a name.....

In 1965 Richie Furay (of Dayton/Yellow Springs. Ohio) removed a nameplate from a road roller that he saw on the side of a highway.  Later that year Furay decided to use the name for a band he was forming with Stephen Stills, Neil Young, Dewey Martin, and Bruce Palmer.

The rest, as they say, is history.....
