I got a few of each of these, as young fry, from Dale a while back for breeding a couple projects that I had in Mind....I like Plat marbles very much...but I adore Turq"s...and now I have both...they've now grown to these beautiful creatures.......thanks again, Dale.....every time I pass the tanks I stop and stare at them....I wish I took better pics....

happy happy happy..you bet  |^|

What beautiful Angels.

It will be over my head as always but please tell me what they are in Greek.  Tell me about your breeding project.  Is it working out?  I have a breeding project going but the fish that I most want to breed have lost the urge to get it on.  Ones that I care less about are having success.  I found out a long time ago that with fish breeding it's best to have a back-up plan.

The Black Blushers he got were hybrid blacks (D/g - S/S) I think. Pretty sure they aren't double darks.

The Plat Goldmarbles are who knows.  I think (Gm/Gm - pb/pb).  Maybe (Gm/g - pb/pb), maybe even (Gm/+ - pb/pb).  I suppose Jon can tell better after they spawn, if they do.

I'm not afraid of work.  I can lay down right next to it and go to sleep.

...yup....one really black too...the rest are single dose....I'm wondering if there's a pb lurking in a couple?...

I'll be trying to cross the plat marble to a plat...so, yes, that'll tell the tale... |^|

This will be so fun to watch.  I would really enjoy seeing someone's breeding project pan out.

Yes a very good possibility of a pb gene in there.

I'm thinking Gm/g.....while the side shown shows some nice markings, the other side is more sparsely patterned......another possibility is stripeless.....plat marble ghost?

I marked down the genetics of the parents as Gm/g - pb/pb, but not really sure.  The grandparents had a stripeless gene, so these could very well too.
