...they spawned early yesterday and pops started acting like an a$$hole again.........I netted his butt out and tossed him into the 75 with grow outs.....Mom is now gently taking care of the eggs.....

I hate it when fish forget how to do what they figured out how to do in the past.  My Half Black pair has been on strike since I removed them from their kids.  They spawn but eat the eggs.  I've moved them around.  Right now they're in a 100 gallon with 4 of their almost adult kids, a pair of Blue Silvers, 5 stripeless half blacks.  I was hoping for a bit of husband and wife swapping but it ain't gonna happen.

At least your stupid male has a woman with a good head on her shoulders.
