The first thing I do when I get home from work is check on my lone chick.  I know it's hiding places.  I also know that it comes out in the front yard to eat grass and scratch around for worms.  Little chickie is nowhere to be found and I hear no peeping.  the hawks have been around looking for a meal lately.  Poor baby.  It was becoming a pet but I knew that it life was in danger.

?Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside in a cloud of smoke, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming ?Wow! What a Ride!? ~ Hunter S. Thompson
