Someone here killed a rat

It was a fine wood rat.  Someone here grabbed in the back of of it and bit into it's spine.  It was an excellent kill.

I have ruled out my Rat Terriers, one never hunted and the other quit bringing home and eating bunnies.  She hasn't to that for 6 years.  She's old.  It wasn't my cat.  She couldn't have killed a rat by biting a chunk out of it's spine.  It had to be a small fast dog with good teeth.  It could have been Cha Cha.  Little miss fancy pants has the teeth and jaws to do the job.  She's fast, too.  Bruno is faster.  He has a perfect bite, too, but his jaws are not as strong.

I'm kind of hoping that it was Cha Cha.  After all I've been through with her she needs to give me something back.  An excellently killed rat is a good start.

Always move forward. Never look back.
