Part of the fun for the swap is the preparation.
I got my inventory done so I know what I will try to bag up.  All I have to do now is print the bag labels and bag them up. I make a list of what I take and mark off what sells when I get home. That way I know what sells and what doesn't. Not that it makes any difference because what doesn't sell this swap will probably sell at the next one.

I'm not afraid of work.  I can lay down right next to it and go to sleep.

I can never get the labels to print right....might need a better printer.....this inkjet hates labels....

..so I just write on the bags..... huh

I use Avery 18163 labels, you can go to the Avery website and get templates that work really great.  Might be worth a try.

I am proud of my fish so I always print a readable label with the type of fish, price, and my contact info. I am amazed at how many people at the swaps have written a price on the bag and that is all.  As if everyone knows every type of fish there is and who the guy selling them is.  Sometimes you would think that they really don't care about selling the fish.

....I know.......I put the name and price....plus point out my business cards for them to take...

I have those labels from attempts past..........my printer still screws them up......

I saw your layout for the swap and copied it with Autocad.  Couldn't figure out how to attach a pix in a private message.  The tables shown are 8' x 2', nothing else to scale.  My thought was there might be more room laying it out like this, but as I say nothing is to scale. If you had room dimensions It could get more accurate.

...nice job...looks nice  |^|

...nope no scale....the room is a touch smaller than the other one...plus a couple restrictions where doors are at.....we just made the drawing from what the place supplied us with.....the first swap we crammed 40+ tables in there and had a real crowded aisle spacing....so we adjusted....this is only the 3rd time doing the swap...we're learning as we go.....but should hit the optimum number of tables after this one....we hope....we can't get bigger than the event will draw....if...or..as it grows....we'll accommodate it from there....LOL...we're not pros yet....
